Safety First
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.
Turn off your Furnace to prevent water damage from continuing overflow
Clear standing water from the Furnace drain pan using a wet vacuum
Check the Furnace condensate drain line for clogs using a shop vacuum
Verify the Furnace drain pan is not cracked or rusted through
Call for Furnace service if the drain pan continues to overflow after clearing the line
