Safety First
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide, or see sparks, evacuate immediately and call 911. Do not attempt to operate your system if you suspect a safety issue.
Turn off power to the Furnace immediately to prevent electrical hazards
Locate the source of the leak on your Furnace and contain the water with towels or buckets
Check the Furnace condensate drain line for clogs causing water backup
Turn off the water supply to the Furnace if the leak is from a water-related component
